Musicians in the Schools
Throughout the season, Fort Collins Symphony musicians and acclaimed guest artists visit Poudre River School District classrooms, providing students the opportunity to meet working musicians and experience firsthand the transformative power of music.
Beyond the Notes
Through partnerships with community groups like Boys and Girls Club, Dandelions, and Realities for Children, the Fort Collins Symphony provides multi-sensory, interdisciplinary arts education for underserved youth and their caring adults. Each session builds vocabulary, critical and creative thinking skills, and listening skills, and participants meet musicians and get a behind-the-scenes look at the symphony.
YES! Youth Education Series Concerts
Each January, the Fort Collins Symphony shares the joy of live music with over 4,000 4th and 5th grade students. Both entertaining and enriching, this program features a diverse array of music styles and genres in an environment that sparks curiosity and instills a lasting passion for music.
