Meet your new FCS Staff Members:
Kate Henry and Jeremy Cuebas
Dear Fort Collins Symphony Patrons,
Thanks to the generous support of our community, the FCS is pleased to introduce two new staff members. The long-needed addition of a Community Engagement and Education Director and a Digital Communications Director will help your Symphony reach new audiences, expand our educational outreach opportunities, and further engage our community for both in-person and online events.
Kate Henry
Community Engagement and Education Director

Kate Henry joins the FCS as the Community Engagement and Education Director. This new position is made possible in part through the generosity of David and Alison Dennis, long-time members of the Friends of the Symphony. Kate comes to us as an experienced fine arts administrator. Most recently, she worked as operations manager with the Utah Symphony/Utah Opera where she oversaw and coordinated community outreach events and worked with community leaders on educational programming. Kate earned her Master’s Degree in Music Performance at Eastern Illinois University.
“It’s important that we nourish our community connections and provide more expansive and inclusive educational opportunities for the Fort Collins community. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Fort Collins, and I’m excited to help our orchestra flourish.”
Jeremy Cuebas
Digital Communications Director

Jeremy Cuebas has served as the FCS Assistant Conductor since 2018. In 2020, he was hired to build the Symphony’s new website. As the new full-time Digital Communications Director, he will continue to improve the symphony’s website and expand the organization’s social/digital presence. Jeremy studied at Colorado State University under Maestro Wes Kenney, graduating in 2018 with his Master’s Degree in Orchestral Conducting. He is the founder of the Podium Time Podcast, Music Director of the AMC Orchestra in Aurora, and most recently worked as Lead Patron Services Associate with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
“I’m very excited for this opportunity to explore more avenues to connect with our current and new audiences. I’ve had a fantastic time working with FCS, so I’m very grateful to be able to work even closer with our fantastic orchestra.”
