The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts is the nation’s most comprehensive series of contests in the classical arts. The competition is nonprofit, unique in scope and structure, and is designed to evaluate, recognize and reward the best performers, ensembles, composers and administrators in the United States.
This year, both the Fort Collins Symphony and Maestro Wes Kenney have been announced as Semi-Finalists for their respective divisions.
The Fort Collins Symphony is one of three semi-finalists for the American Prize in Orchestral Performance – Professional Division.
Maestro Wes Kenney is one of three semi-finalists for the American Prize—Vytautas Marijosius Memorial Award in Orchestral Programming for his work with the Fort Collins Symphony.
