Those who know Myra are well aware that arts and culture, particularly symphonic music, are all causes she holds dear. For many years now, Myra has supported the Fort Collins Symphony in many ways—as a Board member, as hostess to Symphony soirees in her home, through direct financial support and even as a greeter at concerts. When it comes to supporting the Symphony, Myra is simply indefatigable and the Symphony and the community are better off for her many efforts.
When Myra is not strategizing on how to raise funds for the Symphony, she keeps busy raising mountain pleasure horses, including Kentucky Mountain Saddle and Rocky Mountain Horses at her ranch outside of Fort Collins. She also recently came out of retirement to practice law again.
Finally, Myra fully endowed the William E. Runyan Principal Bass Trombone Chair to honor her husband who played with the Fort Collins Symphony for 39 years.
Myra, thank you—for everything!
