Kevin D. Wolfgang is a talented production manager and theatrical designer with over 28 years of experience. This is Kevin’s fourth year coordinating the technical aspects for all music performances. He is a creative designer of costumes and lighting for several local and national theater, dance and opera companies. His most recent designs include lighting the musicals, Curtains and Singing in the Rain, for the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. He was the resident costume designer for the Brevard Music Center for four seasons and one season at the College Light Opera Company and Opera Western Reserve. Kevin brings a variety of talents including experience in fashion, entrepreneurship and retailing with expertise in men’s wear, art and wine. He has held management positions for Brooks Brothers, Target, The O’karma Gallery, Amazon, Starbucks and Beethoven’s Fifth.

Kevin Wolfgang has earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatrical Design from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Kevin has taught at seven university programs including Kent State University, Spelman College, University of Northern Colorado, Youngstown State University, and Ithaca College. His field of research included the reproduction of historical textiles for restoration and display purposes by engaging on demand digital manufacturing. Kevin served on the board of the MuseLAB, an innovation space for museum studies and the FashHack Australia. He was the creator two collegiate technology ideation and pitch competitions, the Fashion Tech Hackathon, now in its ninth year and the Stage Technology Hackathon.

Kevin looks forward to contributing to the success of the Fort Collins Symphony and bringing classical music to Northern Colorado.
