‘Everyone needs to find their one thing and then do something about it.’ That has been Jody Johnson’s motto throughout her many roles with the Fort Collins Symphony. Her past roles include serving as President of the Symphony Guild, Chairman of the Cranberry Pops Concert and President of the Symphony Board.

Johnson, who was involved with the selection of Wes Kenney to be the new Music Director, found it to be a challenging and stimulating process—one which was critical to the strong continuation of the Symphony on the Lincoln Center stage.

Through the process of “keeping classical music alive” for this community, she made lasting friendships with members of the Guild and Board that continue today. As challenging as it has sometimes been, Johnson feels proud to have been involved all these years and raves about the work and quality of both the musicians and of Kenney.

Johnson’s motto of ‘finding that one thing and then doing something about it’ has served the Fort Collins Symphony very well.
