David Dennis

David is a retired CDC physician-epidemiologist who spent most of his career working on the prevention and control of infectious diseases in developing areas of the tropics. In 1990, David moved to Fort Collins with his wife Alison to join the CDC research unit here. Their life-long interests in classical music led them to assist in the development of the Friends of the Fort Collins Symphony, where they currently serve as Vice Chairpersons. They also head up the Friends’ Education Committee, which organizes the Masterworks Composer Talks and partners with the Symphony to produce the much-beloved annual Musical Zoo for children.
