
Bill Kneeland is a Fort Collins attorney and the principal of a private law practice specializing in business law, wills and estate planning, family law, real estate law, employment law, and alternate dispute resolutions including mediation and arbitration.
Bill received his MBA in 1985 from Colorado State University College of Business and his Juris Doctorate in 1989 from University of Wyoming Law School. In addition to his law practice, Bill has taught retail marketing and business law at CSU’s College of Business and has been a frequent guest lecturer at CSU and Front Range Community College.
Bill was named an Emeritus Board member of the Fort Collins Symphony following many years of symphony involvement. In addition to his commitment to the Symphony, Bill has been an avid supporter of other performing arts groups, including Bas Bleu Theatre and OpenStage Theatre. For the past five years, Bill has been a Board member of Homeward 2020 with the goal of making homelessness rare, short-lived and non-recurring in our community. Bill also provides pro bono legal service through the Colorado Bar Association.
In addition to his work and volunteer efforts, Bill enjoys bicycling, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and traveling. Bill is married to Christine Kneeland and they have two adult children, Patrick and Julia.
