Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the concert? What are you playing? Is there an intermission? How long is each piece of music?
The concert will start at 7:30 and last about two hours, with an intermission.
Are there concessions?
Yes. Lincoln Center concessions include chips, candy, alcoholic drinks, sodas, and water for sale. Drinks can be brought into the hall, but food is not allowed in the hall.
Should we arrive early?
Of course! There is a pre-concert talk in the hall from 6:30 to 7:00. From 7:00-7:30, the screens in the hall will feature trivia and other information. And there are art exhibits and concessions in the Lincoln Center lobby.
I'm feeling sick. What should I do?
You can easily exchange your in-person tickets for live-stream tickets or return your ticket as a tax-deductible donation. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to call The Lincoln Center Box Office at 970-221-6730. The Box Office is open from 1:00-6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, as well as one hour prior to the show through a half an hour past the show’s start time. Please note, there is a $5 fee on all ticket exchanges.
Do we need to dress up?
Only if you want to! There is no dress code for our concerts. Many patrons choose to dress up, and others feel comfortable in casual, business casual, or evening wear.
Can I take pictures during the concert?
You may take pictures and videos before the concert, after the concert, and during intermission. But we ask that you please not use your phone during the concert because we believe that the symphony is a place to escape the distractions of everyday life, and because we don’t want to disturb other audience members or the orchestra musicians.
