Friends of the Symphony
The Friends of the Symphony supports and promotes the growth of the Fort Collins Symphony financially, socially, and educationally.
The Friends of the Symphony is a nonprofit organization whose purpose shall be to support and promote the growth of the Fort Collins Symphony financially, socially, and educationally. The policies of the organization shall be in harmony with those of the Fort Collins Symphony Association Board.
In 1963 when the Symphony Guild held its first meeting, no one could have predicted the remarkable success of a small group of persons committed to ensuring symphonic music in the Fort Collins community. Sixty years later and over a million dollars donated in support of the symphony, we turn our focus toward the future with a new name and broadened engagement.
We hope that you will be as eager as we are to be a part of this organization, one whose doors are open to all who share a commitment to strengthen the Symphony and its outreach, offering a valuable opportunity to advance a culture of arts in our community for the benefit of persons of all ages and musical interests.
The Friends aim to raise music appreciation through continued education and greater public exposure to the Symphony and its works and to foster friendships and shared experiences among those who love music.
