Tales of Renewal and Life – Mozart’s “Sinfonia Concertante” and Ngwenyama’s “Sonoran Storm”

March 1, 2025 @ 7:30 pm 9:30 pm MST

Discover the spirit of life through music that celebrates renewal and resilience with Mozart’s elegant Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola, performed by New York Philharmonic Assistant Concertmaster Michelle Kim and Violist Nokuthula Ngwenyama, Ngwenyama’s dramatic Sonoran Storm, and Louise Farrenc’s inspiring Symphony No. 3.

A desert with a lightning storm above it. Lightning and music notes come from dark clouds while a woman plays the violin in the foreground next to a cactus with bright pink flowers.
