Tales of Arabian Moons – Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade”

Discover magic and mysteries in Rimsky-Korsakov’s spellbinding Scheherazade, Carl Nielsen’s playful Maskarade Overture, Lev Kolodub’s celebratory Ukrainian Dance Suite, and Hilary Tann’s poetic The Grey Tide and the Green.

Tales of Arabian Moons. A desert scene at sunset. There is music notation and a giant moon in the sky, an Arabian castle in the distance, and a woman dancing in the moonlight.

Learn firsthand what it takes for an orchestra to bring live music to the stage. Houselights remain on during this comfortable preview of each upcoming Signature concert. The rehearsal closes to the public at 8:30 p.m. intermission.
