Organ Week: Music for Organ and Orchestra

Your FCS joins CSU’s Organ Week to perform the most famous music ever composed for organ and orchestra, including the glorious “Organ Symphony” of Camille Saint-Saëns. Todd Wilson (Cleveland Orchestra), Ken Cowan (Rice University), and Joel Bacon (Colorado State University) will play First United Methodist Church’s famed Marcussen Organ in this spectacular event.

  • Symphony No. 1 for Organ and Orchestra / Alexandre Guilmant (1837–1911)
    • Todd Wilson, organ
  • Concerto for Organ, Strings and Timpani / Francis Poulenc (1899–1966)
    • Ken Cowan, organ
  • Symphony no. 3 (“Organ Symphony”) / Camille Saint-Saëns (1835–1921)
    • Joel Bacon, organ

Tickets: $5/youth (under 12), $19/adult, free for CSU students
