Tales of City Lights and Jazz Nights – Gershwin, Duke Ellington, and Chick Corea

February 8, 2025 @ 7:30 pm 9:30 pm MST

Discover the rhythm and romance of the big city in a night of jazz-infused classics, featuring Chick Corea’s exhilarating Trombone Concerto performed by New York Philharmonic Principal Trombonist Joseph Alessi, George Gershwin’s beloved An American in Paris, Duke Ellington’s soulful Black, Brown, and Beige Suite, and Richard Rogers’ electric “Slaughter on 10th Avenue” from the musical On Your Toes.

The Paris skyline at night with a brightly lit Eiffel tower. Music notes and spotlights in the distance. The silhouette of a man wearing a hat and playing the trombone is in the foreground beneath a dark street lamp.
