Fort Collins Symphony Endowment Fund

The Fort Collins Symphony Endowment Fund is a 501(c)3 that supports the operations of the Fort Collins Symphony. Your gifts to the FCS Endowment Fund are invested to sustain and support the Symphony long into the future. A portion of the generated income is given annually to the Fort Collins Symphony Association. In this way, the FCS Endowment Fund will give to the Symphony in perpetuity.

As of April 2024, the Endowment balance is $273,400.

Current FCS Endowment board members are Paisley Pettine, Cindy Bragdon, Reed Johnson, and Mary Pat McCurdie. Investment funds and distributions are managed by the Northern Colorado Community Foundation.

The FCS Endowment Fund:

  • Enhances and increases the Symphony’s reach into the community by providing regular distributions from the income of the endowment to boost the annual operating budget.
  • Provides funding to special projects not covered by regular operations.
  • Creates long-term sustainability for the Symphony, ensuring that Fort Collins and the Northern Colorado Region will enjoy the benefits long into the future.

88 Notes Campaign

Reflecting on its 100-year history, symphony leadership gleaned insights from the pandemic and studies conducted with other symphonies throughout the nation. To provide cultural health and well-being and create a positive economic impact, we need an innovative and financially secure Symphony—one ready to serve future generations for the next 100 years. Launched November, 2023, 88 Notes looks to that future.
